vRapid Mobile reduces the size of application updates by up to 97% smaller than can be achieved through other techniques. This significantly minimizes the bandwidth requirements for over-the-air updating of mobile applications. It ensures that more consumers stay updated with the latest version, which is particularly important for revenue-generating applications.

vRapid Mobile can manage applications built into the embedded firmware and applications downloadable to read/write file systems, as well as their software dependencies, for example on JVM and other runtime environments. The vRapid Mobile solution supports the Open Mobile Alliance's Software Component Management Object (SCOMO) and uniquely extends support for SCOMO into embedded firmware, enabling mass market feature phones to be upgraded with new service enablers and Internet applications.
