Digital Airways

Red Bend and Digital Airways have partnered to integrate Red Bend’s Mobile Handset Update solution with Digital Airways’ man-machine interface (MMI) engine for mass-market mobile phones. The integration of these two technologies enables handset manufacturers to create mass-market mobile phones that can be customized easily and securely, both before manufacture and afterwards over the air (OTA).

Red Bend has partnered with Zi Corporation on Red Bend's MAST concept phone. Red Bend's vRapid Mobile is used to enable dual-language messaging to a subscriber's phone using Zi's eZiText® solution for predictive text entry.

Mobile Device Management (MDM) Partners

Red Bend has joined the LiMo Foundation™ as an Associate member to bring its expertise in remotely managing mobile devices and updating firmware over-the-air (FOTA) to the LiMo platform. LiMo Foundation is a dedicated consortium of mobile industry leaders working together within an open and transparent governance model—with shared leadership and shared decision making—to deliver an open and globally consistent handset software platform based upon Mobile Linux for use by the whole mobile industry. M2M Consortium

Red Bend is a member of the M2M Consortium. Much technology vital to the realization of Machine-to-Machine capability already exists; however, in order to develop practical M2M applications, it is now necessary to firmly merge these technologies and modify them to suit the location and purpose of use. At the M2M Consortium, a diverse variety of businesses, such as operators, machine and device manufacturers, engineering companies, software vendors and integrators, come together to share information and to ensure mutual connectivity between machines and networks.
