BEIJING—January 19, 2009—Red Bend Software, the market leader in Mobile Software Management (MSM), announced today that Haier (Qing Dao) Telecom Co., Ltd. has licensed Red Bend’s vCurrent® Mobile firmware over-the-air (FOTA) client software and vDirect Mobile™ device management software for its HG-V70 GSM mobile phone available for China Mobile Communications Corp. (CMCC) subscribers. Haier Telecom is a subsidiary of the Haier Group, the world’s fourth largest household appliances manufacturer.
