Dec 21, 2010: Red Bend Continues Strong Growth; Shipments Reach 915 Million in Q3 2010

WALTHAM, Mass .— December 21, 2010 — Red Bend Software, the market leader in mobile software management (MSM), set a new company record for quarterly shipments as its vRapid Mobile®, vDirect Mobile™ and VLX™ software products were embedded in 85 million mobile phones and connected devices in the third quarter of 2010. That brings Red Bend’s total shipments to 915 million. Q3 shipments were up 48 percent from third quarter last year, outpacing overall mobile phone shipments, which rose 35 percent year over year.

LAS VEGAS, CTIA Wireless 2010—March 22, 2010—Red Bend Software, the market leader in Mobile Software Management (MSM), today announced that its vRapid Mobile® and vDirect Mobile™ software products shipped in 680 million mobile devices worldwide through 2009 from leading manufacturers including LG, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, ZTE, Kyocera and HTC.
