Redbend’s Software as a Service (SaaS) is a scalable off-the-shelf, end-to-end cloud based solution, with a selection of pre-defined service configuration options. Redbend is responsible for maintaining and updating the backend software, including the server’s OS updates, security, firewall and daily backups enabling the customer to focus on running the service and changing deployed devices for the better.
SaaS customers receive a two-tier account domain on a Software Management server shared with other customers, with full isolation of devices models, devices, managed firmware and software assets, management campaign and reporting data. The second domain tier enables SaaS customers to manage separate groups of devices, models and software assets, e.g. for different regions or customers. The SaaS service is most suitable for customers with up to 1 million devices.
Redbend SaaS is available for Mobile, IoT and Automotive solutions, for firmware and applications management on Android-based devices, and for firmware updates on other platforms.
