Position: Algorithm Software Developer
Location: Hod Hasharon, Israel
Description: Developing algorithms and implementing them to become actual working products.
Requirements:

  • Computer science/mathematics graduate
  • Extremely bright, self-motivated developer who is able to work as part of a team as well as manage his/her responsibilities independently
  • Good collaborative skills
  • Experience in developing algorithms (The types of algorithms we develop have no relation to the following types: MPEG, encryptions, image processing and AI)
  • 3+ years of experience in object-oriented C/C++ development
  • Need to have the ability to cope with existing code for new additions and improvement purposes
  • Good understanding of Mobile/Linux/Windows file systems
  • Advanced degree in computer science (a plus)

Position: Director, ISV & Platforms Account
Location: San Francisco or Silicon Valley area, United States
Description: Developing algorithms and implementing them to become actual working products.
Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Own an identified set of Red Bend’s ISV and Platform accounts in the Americas region
  • Penetrate new ISV and platform accounts as identified by the business unit
  • Build enduring, strategic relationships with the ISVs and platform providers in order for Red Bend to realize its business objectives
  • Ensure Red Bend maximizes its Sales activities by coordinating our approach to key opportunities with the regional sales teams, MSM (Mobile Software Management) Services, and internally within Red Bend
  • Be Red Bend´s person on the ground in Silicon Valley (California) and support other parts of Red Bend with information or support in connection with key business activities, including corporate and business development activities
Tasks and Standards of Performance:
  • Identify new ISV and platform accounts with whom Red Bend should engage.
  • Build initial relationships with agreed target companies.
  • Work with Red Bend’s legal team to manage the agreements with the target accounts
  • Engage in ongoing account management with an aim to build a preference for Red Bend and ensure a positive business relationship for both parties. This includes structured analysis of key accounts with an emphasis on how to increase Red Bend’s influence within these accounts.
  • Building relationships with key individuals within the target accounts. This includes building relationships between Red Bend’s top management and the management at our ISV & platform accounts.
  • It is key that the account activities are based on strategic awareness and a deep understanding of Red Bend’s market position within the mobile value chain.
  • It is expected that the director creates key accounts plans, prepare briefings for senior management before key meetings, and keep track of minutes and actions from key engagements with partners.
  • The Director also will oversee the delivery of agreed services and products between Red Bend and the accounts. This includes escalation of risks and issues that Red Bend management need to deal with.
  • On occasions, the role will include corporate or business development toward other accounts in the Silicon Valley area where the person will add value due to account proximity and local knowledge.
Skills and Key Requirements:
  • University/college degree
  • At least 5 years in the mobile phone market or related tech markets
  • Strong experience in account management and business development
  • Good analytical and networking skills
  • Speak and write English fluently
  • Planning and organizing your work in a systematic way must be one of your strengths
  • 50-70 days of travel per year
  • Will be working out of his/her home office; hence, needs to be able to work independently and possess the drive to tackle challenges and solve issues without day-to-day supervision
Previous Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience at either a platform provider (i.e., Palm, Apple, Access or similar), a handset manufacturer (i.e., Motorola, Kyocera or similar) or a major ISV in the mobile phone space (i.e., Macromedia, Adobe, Packetvideo or similar)
