Motorola R8 FOTA enabled
by Victor Ferrer Firmware updates are double-edged blades. On one hand, they usually fix bugs and improve your mobile device functionality but, on the other hand they are usually tiresome and seen by the user as rather dangerous. As you will see in the following video, the Motorola’ s Z8 features a new FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) update which will allow the user to easily update his /her device firmware with any effort and in a completely safe way. This update system has a security feature which is triggered if you lose connectivy or you run out of battery while doing the update. If so, it allows to pick the upgrade up from where it ended next time you will switch the phone on. If you own one of these devices, try it and forget about USB cables, PC software….
